Welcome to MTCS
Moamoa Theological College and Seminary (MTCS) is a Catholic Institute of the Archdiocese of Samoa, Apia. It was established as a centre for studies catering for those who intend to commit to a life of service through church ministries as permanent Deacons, and as diocesan Priests. MTCS prepares students to be effective leaders of their communities. This entails a commitment to their spiritual formation, intellectual formation, holistic formation and mission formation.
Our Aim
Primary aim is to provide for its students the human, spiritual, theological, moral and pastoral formation necessary for the priestly and lay ministry in the Roman Catholic Church.
Main focus of the program is to prepare students for ministry in the Archdiocese of Samoa-Apia, they are also being prepared to serve the Universal Church.
“I wholeheartedly recommend Moamoa Theological College and Seminary, and welcome you to open your hearts to Christ and be filled with the Holy Spirit. May the Lord who has begun his good work in you bring it forth to fulfilment!”
Most Rev. Alapati Lui Mata’eliga, DD.
Archbishop of Samoa-Apia
